"Theories of health behavior identify targets for change and the methods for accomplishing these changes. Theories also inform the evaluation of change efforts by helping to identify the outcomes to be measured, as well as the timing and methods of study to be used. Such theory-driven health promotion and education efforts stand in contrast to programs based primarily on precedent, tradition, intuition, or general principles." -Glanz, Rimer & Viswanath, 2008
Theories of the behavioral sciences (Social Cognitive Theory, Self-Determination Theory, Transtheoretical Model, Health Belief Model, among others) are what guide my practice, as they have been tested through rigorous research studies as applied to health and productivity programs.
Return on investment is real, but is rarely measured with the appropriate scientific rigor. I have not create anything new, rather, I am simply doing what is rarely done in practice - applying what works.

"Learning would be exceedingly laborious, not to mention hazardous, if people had to rely solely on the effects of their own actions to inform them what to do. Fortunately, most human behavior is learned observationally through modeling: from observing others one forms an idea of how new behaviors are performed, and on later occasions this coded information serves as a guide for action."
